Dr. Ben Dahveed Ben Israel

Founder and Dean of the Israel Institute of Language Study


Dr. David Israel is an alumnus of the 1983 graduating class of the School of the Prophets Institute of Higher Learning at Jerusalem. He has degrees in New World Chronicles/History, Education and Hermeneutic Philosophy. Dr. Israel became an understudy and steward to the Headmaster and Dean of the SOTP, Prince Dr. Shaleak Ben Yehudah, in 1979. In 1982, Dr. Israel became a member of the prestigious elite order of the “Spiritual Investigators.” In 2003, he received his PH.D in Hermeneutic Philosophy, and he is highly recognized in the field of English and Hebrew Language Learning.


After working with the Ministry of Education of Israel and various institutes of Higher Learning e.g. Ono Academic College, The Israel College of Business Management, The Mandel College of Leadership, Manchester University Israeli extension, the Israel College, Dr. Israel saw the dire need for a new approach to language teaching and developed the "F.O.C.U.S" (Foundational Organization of the Constructs of Universal Study) approach to study. The Israel Institute of Language Study was established in 2006 in Hersliyah, Israel and in 2007, it was relocated to Dimona, Israel.


The purpose and mission of the IILS is to provide the skill and understanding for proper language acquisition based on the "Pure Language Idea" and the F.O.C.U.S. approach to learning acquisition.
